To access website settings go to Website > Website settings in your navigation.
Note: Make sure to hit save settings whenever you make changes to make sure all changes are applied.
Here you can find 4 different tabs with various options:
1. General/Password Settings
Here you will find password and log in settings.
We recommend using unique rather than generic passwords because they are more secure.
Unique passwords will be generated by the system and can be changed by default (turn off if you do not want to allow)
We also encourage you to use Magic Links. These will automatically log users into their event account (which is linked to their Email) without putting in any details.
This is the most secure and user-friendly way to handle log ins. To use them in Emails, simply link the tag #magiclink.
At the bottom of this page you can set the landing page when users log in.
2. Theme Settings
In this section you can make a lot changes to change the visual appearance of the website.
At the to you can set up contact details from the event organizer. These will be shown in the registration page or in the attendee app.
Below this you turn on and off various sections to be shown in on the website.
We recommend trying them out and checking if you want to keep them via the Preview Website button at the top right corner of the page
Again: Make sure to hit save settings each time you make a change.
3. Email Settings
Here you can apply changes that will automatically be applied in Emails you sent out through the system.
We encourage you to try out the features and check what they look like via Emails > select an Email > Preview and send Test
4. Calendar Settings
Here you can amend the settings regarding the calender files which are generated by the system to be downloaded by guests.
You can set up Name, Location, Reminders, busy statuses and descriptions for the events/calendar files
Note: it is important to leave this as the actual event location to get the right timezone.
Allow Attach calendar file to emails to be able to use the {calendarlink} tag for an easy way to make the calendar file accessible in Emails.
