General Language
Adding Languages: Admins have the option to support multiple languages for their iOS app. Head to Account name (top right corner) > Account Details & Settings > Language Settings > Set Languages > + Add Language. This ensures that the website and app interface and content can be customised to cater to a global audience, making it more accessible and user-friendly for everyone.
App Language
Translate App Phrases: Admins can localise fixed phrases for iOS app users that are used throughout the app. These phrases are located on the dashboard under Account name (top right corner) > Account Details & Settings > Language Settings > Phrases under the App strings section. Select the language you want your app to be available in and translate the phrases.
Please note: Include symbols like ‘$’ in your translations, including the numbers, as these indicate a variable that will be replaced in the app.
Event Language
Event-Specific Localisation: Event-specific translations can now be set up by an Admin. To do so, head to Website > Settings > Language Settings. Here you can enable languages. If a language is enabled, you will have an additional tab with the new language for each textbox throughout the system:
Click on the other language and type in your translation.
Now attendees can change the language of the event website on the right side of the navigation tab.
To change the language on the attendee app, attendees can do so by clicking on the language displayed in the bottom right corner.
Please note: Once a default language is set, you can only change it back by contacting support@eventogy.com.
