System emails
The emails are split into system emails and custom emails. There are 7 system emails that are built automatically for every event. These are:
-
Invitation: This is used to invite the guests to register for the event. When a guest is sent an Invitation, their status will change to Invited. This will be used as the default invitation, although clients can create more invitations in the custom emails.
-
Reminder: This is used to remind guests to register, if they have already received the invitation. A guest who is sent a reminder email will have their status switched to reminded.
-
Password Reset: This is a password reset used by admins to reset a guests password. This should not be confused with the password reset that guests can send themselves by pressing ‘forgot password’ on the login screen.
-
Decline: This is automatically sent if a guest declines the invitation, either by using the decline link in an invitation email or by answering a decline question in the registration. This will set the guest’s status to declined
-
Cancellation: This is automatically sent if a guest cancels their registration. This will also set the guest’s status to cancelled
-
Confirmation: This is sent automatically after a guest successfully completes their registration. It contains the guest’s registration data, though this option can be turned off.
-
Waitlist: This is automatically sent if a guest registers, but is placed on a waitlist if the event is full or there is an open waitlist.
System emails cannot be archived, custom emails can be.
Custom emails
Custom emails are built by clients and are event specific, but can be imported from other events. When creating a custom email, you can add a type to the custom email. The following types can be added to the custom emails.

-
Attended: Will give the email type attended which will trigger a guest status change to attended when sent.
-
