Evolis Printers - Setup Guide

Pre-requisites

• Evolis Primacy 2 - Required
• Evolis Primacy 2 LCD screen attachment - Required
• Evolis Primacy 2 WIFI module - Optional
• iPad / iPhone - Required

Overview

Both the printer and iPhone/iPad need to be connected to the same network as follows:

Setup

1. Connect printer to a network

You need to connect the printer to your network, this can be done either by connecting the printer via an ethernet cable or via the wifi module on the printer. Please refer to the printer manual for instructions on how to do this.

2. Obtain printer IP address

The IP address of the printer will be required so that the Host app can connect to it. To obtain your IP Address from the LCD screen on the printer, go to the Network information section of the LCD touchscreen:

Take note of the IP.

3. Connect iPad/iPhone to a network

Please note that for this integration to work, the iPad will now need to be connected to the same network using WIFI.

4. Connect the iPad to the the printer

Login to the host app and follow these instructions:

• Open the Admin panel by clicking the cog icon on the top left of the screen. You will then be prompted to to enter the pin code, this is the same one that you used to login.
• Click on Connect under the printer and select Evolis.
• Enter the IP address of the printer and click Connect.
