Follow the below steps to create an anonymous survey for your event:
- Go to your event
- Go to Website > Pages
- Select to Add a Page (‘+ Add page’)
- Select the option ‘Survey’ and click 'Save'
- Give your Survey page a title
- Make your page ‘Live’ if you wish for it to be visible to all guests immediately. Alternatively, you can keep it as a ‘Draft’ until you are ready to publish it to your event website.
- Click ‘Save’
- Once you created the Survey page, click to access its content.
- Here you will find a number of question types you can add to your survey page:
- Text Box / Area - free form field
- Drop Down box - drop down field with options a guest can select from
- Radio button - a selection of options which you can restrict so that guests can pick the one or multiple options (if you select multiple options, the system will update the question type to checkboxes)
- Divider text - option to add some descriptive text to the survey
- File upload - option for guests to upload a document or image to their survey response
You can create sections in your survey by selecting the option ‘+ Add new section’ and/or add new pages as well ‘+ Add page break’.
- Once added to the survey, you can go to the Advanced Options tab for each question in order to make it:
- A Required question - guests must complete the question in order to submit their survey response
- Restrict visibility of the question to a specific guest type - only guests with that guest type will be able to see the question
- You can also set up conditions in your survey whereby the answer to one question triggers another question for the guest to answer. To find out more about conditional questions, click here.
- Once you have added your questions to the survey, click on ‘commit all draft changes’. This will ensure your updates are reflected on the live Survey form.
- Confirm by clicking ‘Publish Changes’
- Once published, you can view your survey page by going to ‘Preview Website’
